This breakfast is very filling and sustaining. The girls love to grind the seeds and even better they love to put all of them in their oatmeal.
1 cup Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Oats
Ground Flaxseeds
Ground Chia Seeds
Ground Hemp Seeds
Berries – We used frozen Black Current, Red Current and Huckleberries
Shredded Raw Coconut
Cacao Nibs
Chopped up Apples
Cinnamon
Maple Syrup to taste
Brown Sugar Optional
We use either Macadamia Nut Milk, Almond Milk or Coconut Milk
Cook Oatmeal in pan according to directions on bag. Grind seeds in coffee grinder. We do enough for the whole week to add to baked potatoes, soups and salads. Chop up your apple. We set everything up on the counter and everyone picks what they want in their oatmeal.
