This is just a quick easy breakfast. Chia seeds are so good for you and are great in smoothies, sprinkled on salads, added to vegetable dishes and made into pudding. I saw a recipe for flax seed cereal in a Candida book but Keely has a sensitivity to flax seed so we used chia.
1/4 cup chia ground or whole depending on the texture you want
1/2 cup boiling water
Stir and allow to sit 5 min.
Add coconut oil, cinnamon and Lakanto, Raw Honey or Stevia to taste
We top it off with fresh berries or green apples.
