Homemade Healthy Chocolate Candy

My friend Lisa came over today and we made chocolates for Keely so she would have some fun stuff to eat tomorrow after trick or treating.  She brought a bunch of different flavorings and I found an unopened chocolate making kit Jeff and I got for X-mas along time ago with a bunch of different molds.

1/2 cup cacao butter
2 TBSP coconut oil
1-2 spoonfuls honey
dash of salt
3/4 cup carob or cacao powder
1/2 – 1 tsp stevia powder

This is the base you can also use Cacao powder in place of Carob.  Melt the cacao butter in the oven on the lowest heat in a pot.  Melt coconut oil in oven or on stove low heat.  Warm honey in hot water or I boiled water  then turned it off and put a bowl of honey in the steamer with a lid.  Mix all together in bowl or big glass measuring cup.  Can just pour this into molds or ice cube trays or add flavors in smaller bowls.  Put in freezer for 20-40 minutes.  Best stored in freezer until ready to eat.

Flavors we made today:
Orange Essential Oil 1 drop
Peppermint Essential Oil  1 drop

We also made sunbutter, peanut butter and cashew butter cups:
Get muffin tray with papers, pour a layer of chocolate and put in freezer.
Mix any nut butter with a little honey or stevia and a little bit of coconut oil.
When chocolate mixture is hard spread nut butter and pour a thin layer of chocolate on top.
Put back in freezer for 20 min.  Best to store in freezer until ready to eat.

Lastly we drizzled chocolate over nuts on parchment paper and froze.
