How To Get More Vegetables In Your Diet

 

Getting vegetables  in your diet can sometimes feel like a challenge.  Just by simply making different veggie trays and having them ready to go you will be surprised at how easy it is to get vegetables in your diet and your kids!  Veggie trays are a regular part of our daily eating routine.  Every couple days I put together a fresh tray so I can set it out while making lunch and dinner.  This is a great way to get veggies into your  diet and even better putting them out while everyone is hungry and waiting for their meal to ready.

Some of my favorite veggies to use are: Cucumbers, Carrots, Romaine Lettuce, Celery, Zucchini, Snow Peas or Snap Peas, Yellow Squash, Pea Shoots, Sunflower Sprouts, Sliced Tomatoes, Sliced Avocado ( I add these fresh instead of cutting them ahead of time).
