We don’t use our dehydrator enough but I love it. It is hard to find gluten free crackers that don’t have soy in them and I hate wasting all the pulp after I make juice so we made these chia crackers as an experiment and they turned out great. Vegetable pulp from 2 cups of juice. Any mixture of vegetables you want to be in the crackers. I did Carrots, Onion, Kale, Lemon and Yellow Squash this time and they were excellent.
- 1/3 cup Chia Seeds soaked in 2 cups of purified water for a 10-20 minutes
- 1 tsp Italian Herb mix or any herb mixture you want
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp Herbamare
Mix all ingredients and layout on a dehydrator sheet and dehydrate at 105 degrees
for 8 – 12 hours. Turn and dehydrate to desired crunchiness.
